Another option for travel, which allows for faster than light speeds without violating the laws of physics, is something called the [Alcubierre Drive](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive). This is the same drive that allows “warp” speed in Star Trek. Although Star Trek is a work of science fiction, it turns out the theory behind the warp drive could actually work. Of course, all of this is theoretical and hasn’t been tested…
Perhaps a [Roman Ring](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_ring) would allow you to go back to the past. There are also some other theories on how to use wormholes as a time machine (past and future). Unless we can figure out how to travel back in time or become immortal through technology/ stopping aging, then no, probably not.
Also, traveling at relativistic speeds and hit a small dust cloud would cause terrible damage to a spacecraft. Unless you use something like a forcefield to deflect atoms in the path you are travelling along.
