NASA’s New Horizons Finds Second Mountain Range in Pluto’s ‘Heart’

The more pics I see the more I think that Pluto could be a candidate for a early planet flung to the outer system. Maybe a 1 in a trillion extra solar capture of a wandering planet? That strange ice looks like what might happen if an ocean froze in a years time, top first, pressure buildup forcing water through cracks and merging with other flows before freezing. Probably not.

Edit: plus the lack of impact sites where the ice is, but but visible where it isn’t, as if it’s new home outside of the active inner solar system hasn’t done much to it.
